Armed Robbers Loot Rs 5 Lakh from Petrol Pump in Keonjhar Dist

Keonjhar: Unidentified armed robbers allegedly looted Rs 5 lakh from a petrol pump at Phulajhara under Nayakote police limits in Odisha’s Keonjhar district on Wednesday night.

The CCTV cameras installed at the petrol pump were also damaged by the miscreants.

The robbers looted the cash from the petrol pump at gunpoint. During the heist, the criminals fired into the air to threaten the bystanders and staff.

The robbers escaped from the spot after looting money and damaging CCTV cameras.

On being informed, police reached the spot to initiate an investigation to nab the culprits.
