Bangladesh Army Forced PM Sheikh Hasina to Resign in 45 Minutes

Sheikh Hasina resigned as Prime Minister of Bangladesh and fled from the country on Monday afternoon as violent clashes claimed over 300 lives. As per reports, she resigned in a haste as the Bangladesh army forced her to quit her post in 45 minutes.

The BBC’s India correspondent reported on X that the former Bangladesh Pm is heading to Tripura’s Agartala. But Indian sources have not confirmed it.

According to Bangladesh media, Hasina and her sister, Sheikh Rehana, left Dhaka for India in a military helicopter.
