Bangladeshi Porn Star Arrested in Maharashtra for Illegal Stay in India

Mumbai: Bangladeshi adult actor Riya Barde was arrested by the Maharashtra Police on charges of illegally staying in India. Riya Barde, popularly known as Arohi Barde and Banna Sheikh, in the adult film industry, was arrested from Ulhasnagar in Maharashtra.

According to the charges made by the police against the Bangladeshi porn star, although she is a resident of Bangladesh, she was staying in India with her family by using forged documents. The police are also searching for her mother, sister, brother, and father in the case. Her parents were presently reported to be in Qatar.

A case against her was registered under Sections 420, 465, 468, 479, 34, and 14A of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

According to the reports, Riya Barde’s mother originally hails from Bangladesh but had married Arvind Barde (Riya’s father), who is from Maharashtra’s Amravati. Thereafter, she presented forged documents to prove her nationality as Indian.

According to the police, Riya Barde was arrested in the past in connection with a case related to prostitution.
