Bata India Planning partnership with Adidas: Report

New Delhi: Bata India is now engaged in discussions with sportswear giant Adidas for a potential strategic partnership, reported CNBC-TV18.

According to sources, the partnership talks between Bata India and Adidas are in advanced stages. Both companies are interested in collaboration for the Indian market.

Bata India has a large retail network of over 2,050 outlets all over India. If the collaboration materializes, Adidas will benefit from this large retail network of Bata India.

Both Adidas and Bata India have not yet come up with any authorized declaration regarding their probable collaboration. But reports about their possible partnership has raised speculations in the shoe industry.
