Bhubaneswar: BJP’s national president JP Nadda took part in a roadshow in Bhubaneswar from Mausima square to Lingaraj temple on Monday morning.
He is also scheduled to address two public meetings in Padmapur and Sundergarh on Monday afternoon.
Nadda arrived in Bhubaneswar on Wednesday and held a meeting with female activists of the BJP at a hotel in the city.
Addressing the woman BJP activists, he said, “Modi government is giving much priority to the women empowerment. Empowerment of women can empower the whole nation.”
On Wednesday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah held a roadshow in Cuttack to campaign for the BJP candidates. His road show started from Gopabandhu park and reached Chandi Mandir square via Buxi Bazaar, Tinikonia Bagicha, Dargha Bazaar, Choudhry Bazaar, Naya Sarak, Balu Bazaar, Chandni Chhak and Mohammadia Bazaar. BJP’s Cuttack Lok Sabha candidate Bhartruhari Mahtab and Cuttack-Barabati assembly candidate Dr Purna Chandra Mohapatra, accompanied him during the roadshow.
