Body of Youth With Slit Throat Found in Nimapara of Puri District

Puri: The body of a youth with a slit throat was found in Nimapara of Puri district. It is suspected that the youth was murdered and the assailants fled after committing the crime.

The deceased has been identified as Basudev Ojha, a resident of Siriapur village in Puri district. Personnel of Nimapara police station reached the spot to initiate an investigation.

A bike was also found near the body of the youth. The reason behind the murder is yet to be ascertained. But locals suspect tussle over illegal drug trading may be the reason behind this killing.
