Chandrababu Naidu Granted Anticipatory Bail by Andhra High Court in 3 Cases

Hyderabad: Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was granted anticipatory bail in three cases by the Andhra Pradesh High Court on Wednesday.

Naidu, the leader of the Opposition in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly, got bail in the Inner Ring Road (IRR) case, the excise policy case and the sand mining case.

The Andhra Pradesh High Court had given him bail in November 2023 in the skill development scam case.

The TDP chief was arrested in connection with the skill development case on September 9, 2023, and was in

in Rajahmundry Central Jail till October 31. He was alleged to be involved in the misappropriation of funds from the Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC), leading to a loss of over Rs 300 crore to the state government.

Naidu has denied all charges made against him alleging that they are nothing but political vendetta.
