Odisha CM Mohan Majhi, Deputies To Visit Delhi Today; High-Level Meetings Planned

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is set to embark on a significant three-day visit to New Delhi today. The trip aims to strengthen state-centre relations and push for Odisha’s development agenda.

CM Majhi’s itinerary includes top-level engagements with President Droupadi Murmu, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The Chief Minister has also scheduled talks with several Union Ministers. He will meet Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari, and Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, among others. These ministerial discussions are expected to cover a wide range of topics crucial to Odisha’s development.

In addition to government officials, CM Majhi plans to reach out to key political figures. A meeting with BJP President J.P. Nadda and other senior leaders is on the agenda, highlighting the visit’s broader political significance.

Notably, CM Majhi will be accompanied by Deputy Chief Ministers Kanak Vardhan Singhdeo and Prabhati Parida.

The primary objective of this visit is to highlight Odisha’s pressing concerns and seek enhanced cooperation from the central government for the state’s ongoing and future developmental projects.
