CISF Constable Suspended for “Slapping” Kangana Ranaut, Faces Police Case

Chandigarh: The female constable of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) who allegedly slapped Mandi MP and actor Kangana Ranaut at the Chandigarh airport was suspended from service. A police case has been filed against her.

The CISF constable identified as Kulwinder Kaur claimed that she “slapped” Ranaut for “disrespecting farmers”.

Ranaut was to board a flight to Delhi after being elected from Mandi constituency in Himachal Pradesh, when this incident occurred at the Chandigarh airport on Thursday.

The accused constable, Kulwinder Kaur, was reportedly angry over an old statement by Ranaut. “She gave a statement… that farmers are sitting there for Rs 100. Will she go and sit there? My mother was sitting there and protesting when she gave this statement…,” Kulwinder said.
