Class 10 Student Hacks Junior Over Trivial Dispute About Cycle Parking in Angul, CM Majhi Orders Free Treatment
Angul: A student of class 9 was seriously injured when he was hacked by a student of class 10 senior over a dispute relating to bicycle parking in Odisha’s Angul on Monday.
Both are students of Angul Government High School. As per reports, the class 10 student used a sharp weapon to attack the junior in front of the school gate after the end of school hours. The class 9 student sustained injury to his head. He was admitted to the Angul District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) in critical condition.
His parents registered a complaint at the Angul police station regarding the incident.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi took note of the incident and held discussions with School & Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond and Angul MLA Pratap Chandra Pradhan.
According to an official press release, Chief Minister Majhi has directed to provide the best of medical treatment free of cost to the injured student to save his life.
Following the CM’s directive, the Angul MLA Pratap Chandra Pradhan is in contact with the injured student’s family and has assured of all help.
