Class 9 Student Stabs Classmate In Front of School In Ganjam Dist

Berhampur: A student of class 9 allegedly stabbed his classmate following a quarrel in front of a school at Sanakemundi block in Ganjam district on Friday.

This violent incident occurred at the Ramachandrapur Raghunath High School under the Patapur police station. The accused as well as the victim are classmates and are studying in class 9 in the school.

The injured student was admitted to the MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur.

This violent incident occurred at around 9 am before the start of the first period. According to sources, the two students fought over sitting at a particular place in the classroom. Their quarrel took an ugly turn when one of them stabbed the other.

Police have detained the accused student for interrogation.
