Congress Star Campaigners in Chhattisgarh Include 3 Odisha Leaders

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) President Sarat Pattanayak, former Union Minister Bhakta Charan Das, and Koraput MP Saptagiri Ulaka are among the

40 star campaigners for Chhattisgarh announced by the AICC.

This list includes the Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, former party chief Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, state in-charge Kumari Selja, and senior leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury.

Chhattisgarh will have polling in two phases. In the first phase, voting will be held in 20 constituencies on November 7. The remaining 70 seats of Chhattisgarh assembly will go to polls on November 17. The counting of votes will take place on December 3.

Congress had a landslide victory in Chhattisgarh in the last assembly elections as it won 68 of the total 90 seats. The BJP won in 15 seats.
