Country’s Richest Woman Savitri Jindal Meets Dharmendra Pradhan, Extends Support to BJP

New Delhi: India’s richest woman Savitri Jindal, who has become an Independent in Haryana, extended her support to the BJP after meeting Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and former Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb.

Two other Independent MLAs of Haryana, Devender Kadyan and Rajesh Joon have already declared their support to the BJP.

Savitri Jindal, a former minister in the last Congress government in Haryana won as an independent from the Hisar Assembly seat.

Kadyan, a BJP rebel, won from Ganaur as an Independent. Joon secured victory in Bahadurgarh.

With the support of these Independents, the BJP’s number in the state assembly has reached 51. The BJP on its own crossed the halfway mark in the Haryana Assembly with 48 seats in its bag.
