Crocodile Enters Village in Kendrapara Dist; Villagers Capture It

Kendrapara: A stray crocodile swam up a canal and entered the Gajrajpur village of the Rajnagar block in Kendrapara district on Saturday morning.

The villagers were panicked as the crocodile roamed around inside the village. A crowd also gathered up to see the crocodile as the news spread around.

Some villagers dared to restrain the stray crocodile with ropes and informed the forest department.

The forest officials reached the spot and rescued the crocodile.  According to forest officials, as the canal got filled up with water due to rains, the crocodile strayed out of it during night and entered the village.
