Ex-Gratia for Odisha Govt Employees Hiked to Rs 10 Lakh

Bhubaneswar: Now families of Odisha government employees will get an ex-gratia of Rs 10 lakh for death while performing duty. The Odisha Government on Wednesday increased the ex-gratia for the state government employees in the case of death while being on duty from Rs 4 lakh to Rs 10 lakh.

Similarly, the ex-gratia for permanent disability due to injury has been hiked from Rs 2 lakh to Rs 5 lakh. The compensation for partial disability has been raised from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 2 lakh.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik approved the proposals in this regard.
