Ex-MLA of Talasara Prafulla Majhi Suspended from BJD

Bhubaneswar: Former Talsara MLA Dr Prafulla Majhi was suspended from the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) by the president of the party Naveen Patnaik on Sunday for his alleged anti-party activity.

A press release of the BJD informed it. After getting expelled from the Congress, Dr Majhi had joined the BJD on December 10, 2021. He held the post of the senior BJD Secretary.

He won in the byelection in 2006 and also retained the Talasara seat in 2009 and 2014 assembly elections on the Congress ticket.
