Former Chief Engineer Under Odisha Vigilance Scanner, Raids at 9 Places

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance officials took up simultaneous searches at places linked to Tara Prasad Mishra, former chief engineer, Roads & Building (Civil) following allegations of possession of disproportionate assets by the former government engineer.

Twelve DSPs, 12 Inspectors, 16 ASIs, and other supporting staff of the Vigilance Department are undertaking these searches on the strength of search warrants issued by Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar.

The searches are being conducted at the following nine places in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, and Jharsuguda:

The residential house of Tara Prasad Mishra at Flat No. 103, Arpan Apartment, Nayapalli in Bhubaneswar.

Flat No. K-155A, 15th Floor at Cosmopolis in Bhubaneswar.

Flat No. K-035, 3rd Floor at Cosmopolis in Bhubaneswar.

Flat No. 307, Ashiana Apartment in Jharsuguda.

Flat No. 17, Ashiana Apartment in Jharsuguda.

Flat No. 207, Ashiana Apartment in Jharsuguda.

Mishra’s parental house at Athagarh in Cuttack.

A house of Mishra’s relative at Tigharia in Cuttack.

The house of his relative at Plot No. 1191, Nilakantha Nagar, Nayapalli in Bhubaneswar.

The searches are underway.
