HD Revanna Booked For Kidnapping Victim Allegedly Raped By Son Prajwal

Bengaluru: Former Karnataka minister HD Revanna and his son Prajwal Revanna are embroiled in fresh legal troubles. A case has been filed based on a youth’s complaint alleging the kidnapping of his mother, supposedly tied and raped by Prajwal, as depicted in a video that went viral online.

The complaint, lodged in Mysuru, accuses HD Revanna and Prajwal of serious offences including kidnapping, wrongful confinement, and connivance. According to the complainant, his mother, who previously worked at Revanna’s residence, was allegedly kidnapped by Revanna’s confidant, Sathish Babanna.

“On April 29 at about 9 pm, Sathish Babanna came to our house and said if your mother is caught then you will be in trouble and you may all go to jail. Revanna has asked me to take you. He then took her on a motorcycle,” the complainant said.

Hassan MP Prajwal Revanna faces additional allegations of sexual abuse, prompting the state government to establish a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe the matter. Previously, a molestation case had also been registered against the duo.

In response to the allegations, HD Revanna stated his readiness to face the accusations and undergo any investigation, asserting innocence and readiness to comply with legal procedures.
