Ranchi: Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren is likely to reclaim his position following his release from Birsa Munda Central Jail.
Soren, who spent five months behind bars in connection with a money laundering case, was granted bail by the Jharkhand High Court on June 28.
The INDIA alliance leaders have reportedly reached a consensus on a leadership change during a meeting at the Chief Minister’s residence in Ranchi. As part of this transition, current CM Champai Soren is expected to tender his resignation by 8 PM this evening.
