Husband Uses Contract Killers to Gang Rape & Murder Wife in Keonjhar

Bhubaneswar: A man reportedly hired contract killers to abduct, torture, gang rape and murder his wife in Odisha’s Keonjhar district.

The nude body of the victim thrown into a river was recovered several days after her murder.

Personnel of Keonjhar Sadar police station have arrested the victim’s husband in this connection. An investigation is on to nab the contract killers involved in the crime.

According to family members of the deceased, the victim went missing on September 3. Her nude body was recovered from the Malda river on September 20.

Although family members of the victim allege that she was gang raped before the murder, investigating police officers say it can be ascertained only after the autopsy report come out.
