India To Tour Sri Lanka In July 2024 For 3 ODIs & 3 T20Is After T20 World Cup

Colombo: Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has unveiled a packed 2024 international calendar, featuring a six-match white-ball series against India in July following the T20 World Cup. Despite an ICC ban due to government interference, the men’s and women’s national teams can fulfill bilateral commitments.

Commencing the year with a home series against Zimbabwe in January, Sri Lanka will then face Afghanistan in January and February. A comprehensive all-format tour of Bangladesh follows before the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 in the West Indies and the United States.

Noteworthy FTP tours are expected with India, New Zealand, and the West Indies later in the year. The team is set for a three-match test series in England mid-year, followed by visits to South Africa and New Zealand to conclude the 2024 season.

CEO Ashley De Silva anticipates an exciting year for the team, providing ample playing opportunities, entertainment for fans, and exposure for sponsors.
