Puri: At a meeting held on Monday, the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) finalized the schedule for the inauguration of the Heritage Corridor Project on January 17.
The rituals preceding the inauguration of the mega heritage corridor project will start at 4 pm on January 12. The project will be dedicated to the devotees after the culmination of all rituals at 2 pm on January 17, informed the SJTA Chief Administrator Ranjan Kumar Das.
Gajapati Maharaja Dibyasingha Deb will be present during the rituals. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will take part in the inauguration ceremony on November 17. Puri Shankaracharya and the pontiffs of all mutts Puri will be special invitees to the inaugural ceremony.
During the inauguration ceremony, priests will recite Vedic chants at the four gates of this revered shrine of Hindus and there will be cultural events to mark the occasion.
