Japan Hit by 6.0 Magnitude Earthquake, No Tsunami Alert

A 6.0 magnitude earthquake was felt in Japan on Tuesday. This earthquake occurred near the Ogasawara Islands in the Pacific Ocean, south of Tokyo. According to the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA), no tsunami warnings were issued after the quake.

The tremors were felt at around 9:39 am local time at a depth of around 50 km. There were no immediate reports of injuries or major damage.
