New Delhi: Key leaders of the opposition-led Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) bloc are expected to meet on Saturday in New Delhi to discuss their future course of action after the declaration of results of the Lok Sabha polls on June 4.
This meeting of the INDIA bloc leaders will be held at the residence of Congress Chief Mallikarjun Kharge.
Several chiefs of the parties in the opposition alliance, including Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav, and Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav are expected to attend this meeting.
But West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has expressed that she will not be able to attend the meeting as she has to monitor the relief centers opened for victims of the Remal cyclone.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin may miss the INDIA bloc’s meeting. In his place, DMK’s parliamentary party leader, T.R. Baalu will be attending the meeting.
