Maharashtra Man Arrested for Misbehaving with Korean Vlogger in Pune

Pune: A man was arrested on Tuesday in the Pune district of Maharashtra for misbehaving with a Korean female vlogger. The accused was identified and arrested when the video of the Korean female vlogger’s plight on the streets of Pune went viral. In the video, the Korean vlogger is being harassed by the accused.

The video showed the man touching the Korean woman inappropriately by putting his hand around her neck. This incident happened in November in Pune’s Ravet area during Deepawali. Korean vlogger Kelly uploaded the video on her YouTube channel sparking outrage among the netizens.

Maharashtra Police took cognizance of the matter and arrested the accused under Sections 354 (Assault or criminal force to a woman with intent to outrage her modesty) and Section 294 (punishment for obscene acts or words in public) of the IPC.
