Man from Puri Stabbed To Death In Balasore; Friend Absconds

Balasore: A youth hailing from Puri, identified as Rabi Narayan Guli was stabbed to death at Talanagar under Soro police station limits on National Highway 16 in Balasore district on Saturday.

Rabi had married Ushamani, a girl of Balasore district and the couple was living at Gopalpur in the district.

On Friday night, he left home for Bhadrak on a bike along with a friend. Later on his body was located in a pool of blood on Talanagar Road.

A police patrol rushed him to the Soro Hospital where doctors declared him dead.

Police have started a manhunt to track down his friend, who accompanied him on the bike. He is absconding after the death of Rabi. It is suspected that he may be involved in the murder.
