Manipur Violence: One Killed, 3 Injured as Meiteis Attack Kukis

Imphal: As per reports, one Kuki tribal was killed and three others were injured in a fresh incident of violence in Manipur on Thursday.

Quoting the statement of the Indigenous Tribal Leaders’ Forum(ITLF), a conglomerate of recognised Kuki-Zo tribes, The Tegraph reported that on Thursday, a Kuki “village volunteer” — Lunminthang, 30 — was killed and three injured during an attack by a Meitei group in the Kangvai area of Churachandpur.

The local police have also confirmed the death of one tribal person and injuries to another.
