Massive Fire at Nakachana Dwara of Gundicha Temple in Puri

Puri: A massive fire broke out at the garbage heap near the Nakachana Dwara gate of the Gundicha temple in Puri on Saturday morning.

According to sources, the fire broke out at a garbage dump and the fibre barricade adjacent to the temple gate.

The fire brigade rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control. No injuries were reported in the incident. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. But locals say it may have been caused by a burning cigarette butt thrown by someone.
