Nearly Half of 1,563 Candidates Skip NEET-UG Retest: NTA

New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has revealed that 48% of students scheduled for the NEET-UG retest today did not attend.

The Supreme Court had ordered the re-test for 1,563 students who were awarded grace marks in the original NEET-UG held on May 5. These marks were later cancelled due to concerns about irregularities.

The data, released by the NTA this evening, shows that out of the total eligible students, just 813 (52%) participated in the retest while 750 (48%) were absent.
