New Date for UGC NET 2024 Exam Out, Test to be Held Online

New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the new dates for the University Grants Commission-National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) 2024 June session exam. The UGC NET June 2024 will now be held between August 21 and September 4.

Earlier it was held in pen and paper offline mode. This time it will be a computer-based online test.

The NTA has also announced the Joint CSIR UGC NET and NCET dates. The Joint CSIR UGC NET will conducted from July 25 to 27. The NCET 2024 exam will be held on July 10.

The UGC NET June 2024 exam was conducted on June 18 was cancelled on June 19 by the Ministry of Education claiming that the “integrity may have been compromised”, after receiving input about the alleged leak generated by the Indian Cybercrime Coordination Centre (I4C) under the Ministry of Home Affairs.

The CBI investigation discovered that the paper was leaked on June 16 over the darknet and other encrypted social media channels and was sold for more than 5 lakh rupees.
