Odisha CM Orders Resumption Public Grievance Hearings from July 1

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi ordered the resumption of public grievance hearings across all the government departments from July 1.

As per the CM’s order, the resumption of public grievance hearings applies to all departments of the government, Heads of Departments, and Joint Hearings of Public Grievances held by Collectors and Superintendents of Police in their respective districts.

As per the directive, all grievances received in the hearings have to be registered on the Jana Sunani portal for documentation.

On Wednesday, the General Administration and Public Grievance Department of the Odisha government issued letters to all concerned authorities in regard to the public hearings. “Hearing of Monday Public Grievances in all departments of government, Heads of Departments and Joint Hearing of Public Grievances held by Collectors and Superintendents of Police in their respective districts has to be resumed w.e.f from 01.07.2024 on the orders of the Chief Minister,” stated the letter.
