Odisha to Witness INDIA Bloc Protests in November

Bhubaneswar: As its first major show of strength in the state, the INDIA bloc will hold protests at four places in Odisha in November. According to sources in the state unit of the Congress, these protest demonstrations will be against the misrule of state and Central government.

The four places where the INDIA bloc will hold protest demonstrations in Odisha are Rayagada, Sambalpur, Rourkela and Balasore. The dates for the protests will be announced after the Durga Puja festivities.

This decision was taken at a meeting of leaders of the INDIA alliance parties in Bhubaneswar on Sunday. A 17-member co-ordination committee has been formed in the meeting for future course of action in Odisha.

The INDIA bloc leaders have also discussed seat sharing for the coming Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in the state. According to sources, leaders of the 17 parties of the alliance have already met four times.
