New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has yet to officially release the revised NEET UG 2024 results, despite a link being widely shared online. The education ministry clarified that the updated scores are not yet released, pointing out that the current link on the NEET website is outdated and leads to the old scorecard for NEET 2022.
Initially, NTA had awarded extra marks to students who answered a Physics question based on an incorrect reference from an old Class 12 NCERT textbook. However, the Supreme Court mandated that only the correct answer should be considered, leading to the withdrawal of compensatory marks. As a result, the scores of 44 candidates who had initially scored a perfect 720/720 and ranked first nationwide were adjusted downward by five marks, impacting their top positions.

Candidates can check their revised NEET UG 2024 scorecards on the official NTA website once the update is available. The correct link will be posted once the results are officially released.
Following the Supreme Court’s ruling, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan announced that a new merit list would be published within two days. Students are encouraged to review their revised scores carefully to ensure accuracy.
The NEET UG exam, conducted on May 5, saw participation from over 23 lakh candidates. The preliminary results had initially listed 67 candidates as AIR 1 before the revision.
