PM Modi to Visit Russia, Austria From July 8 to 10

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to embark on a significant diplomatic mission from July 8-10, 2024, visiting Russia and Austria, as announced by the Ministry of External Affairs.

In Moscow, PM Modi will participate in the 22nd India-Russia Annual Summit at the invitation of President Vladimir Putin, focusing on enhancing bilateral ties across various sectors. This visit marks PM Modi’s first to Russia since its military actions in Ukraine began in 2022. Discussions will encompass a wide array of regional and global issues of mutual interest.

Following his engagements in Russia, PM Modi will proceed to Austria on July 9 and 10, marking the first visit by an Indian Prime Minister to the country in over four decades. In Vienna, he is scheduled to meet with President Alexander Van der Bellen and Chancellor Karl Nehammer to discuss bilateral cooperation, including economic partnerships.

Additionally, PM Modi and Chancellor Nehammer will address business leaders from both nations.
