PM Modi Set to Take Charge for 3rd Term as 3rd Longest Serving PM

New Delhi: The trends of the counting of votes for the Lok Sabha elections in 2024 is are hinting that Prime Minister Narendra Modimay lead the NDA to another victory. If he becomes the Prime Minister again, then he will be in the elite list of Prime Ministers who have served for over 10 years.

The longest serving Prime Ministers of India are:

Jawaharlal Nehru (Congress)

Tenure: 1947-1964

Duration: 16 years, 286 days

Jawaharlal Nehru led India from 1947 until his death in 1964.

Indira Gandhi (Congress)

Tenure: 1966-1977, 1980-1984

Duration: 15 years, 350 days
