Poll Official Dies in Binjharpur of Jajpur District

Jajpur: A Booth Level Officer (BLO) died while on duty at a polling station in Binjharpur of Jajpur district on Saturday.

The deceased identified as Manoranjan Sahoo was a school teacher. While at the booth attending poll duty at booth No 157 at Oleichandanpur in Jajpur district, he suddenly suffered chest pain and fell unconscious.

He was immediately transported to the Binjharpur Community Health Centre (CHC), where doctors declared him dead.

Sahoo was posted as a teacher at Harsinghpur Primary School.

As per the family members of the deceased, he was diabetic.
