Prajwal Revanna Facing Sex-Abuse Charges Books Flight to Bengaluru on May 30

Bengaluru: Prajwal Revanna, the suspended JDS leader, who is facing sexual abuse charges, has booked a flight ticket from Munich to Bengaluru on May 30. The flight is scheduled to land in Bengaluru on the early hours of May 31.

Prajwal Revanna is the grandson of JDS supremo and former Priem Minister HD Deve Gowda.

The SIT is expected to arrest him as soon as he lands at the Kempegowda airport in Bengaluru. Prajwal Revanna is a sitting MP, who is seeking re-election as the NDA candidate from Hassan Lok Sabha seat.

He escaped to Germany when the huge cache of explicit videos showing several women being sexually assaulted allegedly by him made rounds and there were demands for his arrest.

At present, he faces two cases of sexual assault. Two days back, he uploaded a video message promising to appear before the SIT on May 31. According to sources, he has twice cancelled flight ticket from Germany in the past.

On Tuesday, the SIT conducted searches at Prajwal’s residence in Hassan. Reports say that some incriminating materials were seized from his house.
