‘Truth Will Prevail’: Prajwal Revanna’s First Reaction On Sex Video Scandal

Bengaluru: Hassan MP and BJP-JD(S) Lok Sabha election candidate Prajwal Revanna is under scrutiny for alleged sexual abuse allegations. The investigation revolves around a significant volume of explicit videos and photos, approximately 3,000 in number, purportedly linked to him, circulating widely on social media platforms.

Prajwal Revanna left the country, following the conclusion of the constituency election. He has requested a seven-day extension from the Special Investigation Team (SIT) appointed by the Karnataka government to probe the matter, citing his absence from Bangalore.

In a Facebook post, Prajwal Revanna expressed confidence in the truth coming to light and assured cooperation with the inquiry, facilitated through his legal representative. However, he remains abroad, necessitating the extension.

The allegations extend beyond Prajwal Revanna himself, implicating MLA and former minister H D Revanna, his father, in a separate complaint. The accusations include sexual harassment by a former cook and relative, who also claimed objectionable conduct by Prajwal towards her daughter, leading to her blocking him on video calls.

As Prajwal Revanna vies for re-election from Hassan on a JD(S) ticket, the investigation casts a shadow over his political prospects.
