Pune Bar Where Teen Drank Before Running Over 2 IT Professionals Sealed, Owners Arrested

Pune: The bar where the Pune teenager drank alcohol before crushing two IT professionals with his Porsche was sealed up on Tuesday by the Maharashtra state excise department. The owners of the bar were also arrested for serving alcohol to an underage person.

This action against Cosie Bar was taken two days after the accident. Police investigation revealed that the 17-year-old was inebriated at the time of the accident. CCTV footage from the bar showed the boy drinking with his friends before the accident.

The speeding Porsche driven by this teenager hit and killed two IT professionals – Aneesh Awadhiya and Ashwini Koshta – in the Kalyani Nagar area of Pune at around 2.15 am on Sunday. As per reports, he was driving the Porsche at 200 km per hour at the time of the accident. His father has been arrested by the police.
