Pune Teen Spent Rs 48K in Bar Before Killing 2 Techies by His Porsche

Pune: The 17-year-old boy, who crashed his Porsche car into a bike killing two IT professionals in Pune on Sunday, reportedly spent Rs 48,000 in 90 minutes at one of the two pubs he visited before the accident.

The teen accused allegedly visited two pubs, Cosie restaurant and Hotel Blak Club in Pune, where he was served alcohol although he is underage. According to police sources, he paid a bill of Rs 48,000 at Cosie, the first pub that the teen and his friends visited at 10.40 pm on Saturday.

The erring teenager is the son of a real estate developer. His father has been arrested. The teen was produced before the Juvenile Justice Board which granted him bail in a few hours.

Both Cosie restaurant and Hotel Blak Club were sealed on Tuesday. The owners of both bars have been arrested.

It has also been revealed that the permanent registration of the luxury Porsche car was pending since March due to non-payment of Rs 1,758 fees by the owner.
