Ragging in Ramadevi Junior College, Student Forced to Watch Lewd Video  

Bhubaneswar: A +2 first-year girl student of Ramadevi Higher Secondary School in Bhubaneswar came up with ragging allegation against her hostel roommates.

The victim also wrote a letter to the School and Mass Education department regarding it. In the five-page letter, she alleged of ragging, mental harassment by her hostel roommates.

She accused her roommates of passing casteist remarks at her, forcing her watch vulgar videos and pressing her to wear shorts at night.

As per reports, despite receiving complaints from her, the college authorities did not take action against the erring students.

After receiving her complaint, the SME department asked the Director of Higher Secondary Education to inquire into her allegations and file a report.
