Rahul Gandhi Cancels Odisha Visit to File Nomination in Rae Bareli

Bhubaneswar: Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has cancelled his election campaign visit to Odisha on Friday to file his nomination papers for the Rae Bareli Lok Sabha seat in UP.

According to state Congress sources, Rahul Gandhi was to address a public meeting in the Rayagada district on Friday. He was also expected to attend a public rally in the Balangir district.

As per a release of the Congress party, Rahul Gandhi will file his nomination papers from Uttar Pradesh’s Rae Bareli Lok Sabha seat and Gandhi family loyalist KL Sharma will contest from the Amethi Lok Sabha constituency.
