Roof Top Ganja Cultivation Lands Hyderabad Man in Jail

Hyderabad: A man was arrested by the Hyderabad police for cultivating marijuana on the terrace of his house. Ten ganja plants were seized from his terrace. The arrested man identified as Sai Revanth Verma, was cultivating ganja on the 200-yard terrace of his house.

Police destroyed the recovered ganja plants and also seized cannabis seeds in possession of the accused. The arrested person was booked under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. He was sent to judicial custody as his bail plea was rejected by the court.

During interrogation, Revanth Verma confessed that he had brought the cannabis seeds from Andhra Pradesh. He wanted to grow cannabis plants for his personal consumption.
