Seven Including 6 Children Injured in Mass Stabbing in France

Seven persons including six children were injured in a mass stabbing incident in Annecy town in France. For some unknown reason, a knife-wielding man started stabbing a group of children aged around three years old at 9:45 am local time (0745 GMT) on Thursday at a park near the lake in the town in French Alps. The assailant was overpowered by the security personnel present at the spot and arrested. The French Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin tweeted that the culprit “has been arrested thanks to the rapid reaction of security forces”.
