Sexual Harassment Allegation Against Lecturer of Govt College in Baripada by 30 Girl Students

Baripada: Thirty girl students of a government college in Baripada of Mayurbhanj district have brought serious allegations of sexual harassment against a lecturer of the institute.

These students of the Government Women’s College, Baripada have given a written complaint to the principal accusing the lecturer of sexual harassment and illicit behaviour. According to the girl students, the lecturer was involved in making lewd gestures and remarks at the girl students.

The principal of the institute, Sagarika Singh, has forwarded the complaint to the college’s internal complaint committee and sexual harassment cell fro investigation.

According to the principal, after a thorough investigation, necessary action will be initiated against the lecturer, if he is found guilty.
