Shooter Who Fired At Delhi Car Showroom for Extortion Killed In Encounter

New Delhi: A shooter who fired at a car showroom in Delhi’s Tilak Nagar to threaten the owner for extortion was shot dead in an encounter with the police on Thursday night.

The shooter was identified as Ajay alias Goli. He died in an encounter with Delhi Police’s Special Cell in Outer Delhi’s Bhalswa Dairy area.

On May 6, Ajay had allegedly fired several rounds at a car showroom in the Tilak Nagar area. Ajay was an associate of gangster Himanshu Bhau, hiding in Portugal.

Ajay’s compatriot during the shooting at the car showroom, Abhishek alias Churan was arrested on May 10. A pistol and six cartridges were recovered from him.

In the past, the gangster Himanshu has made threatening calls to car dealers in Delhi to extort crores of rupees. According to the police, Himanshu tried to extort Rs 5 crore from the car dealer, whose showroom was shot at.
