Lucknow: Six passengers in a car were killed as their car rammed a truck’s rear end on National Highway-58 at around 4 am in Uttar Pradesh’s Muzaffarnagar.
The victims, all residents of Shahdara area in Delhi, were travelling to Haridwar.
The collision was so powerful that the car was totally crushed. The badly damaged car was retrieved by using cranes.
All victims had died following the collision. Yet they were taken to the hospital for confirmation, where doctors declared them dead.
Initial investigation hinted that the car was travelling at extremely high speed and the driver could not see the truck ahead of him at the curve where the accident occurred.
