SJTA to Offer Special Arrangement to Divyang Devotees for Darshan of Deities at Sri Jagannath Temple
Puri: The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) is planning to provide special arrangements for the darshan of the deities by divyang devotees at the Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri.
As per this special arrangement, the divyang devotees will enter through the Uttar Dwar or north gate of the temple. This facility will be provided after inauguration of the Srimandir Parikrama project, informed Ranjan Kumar Das, Chief Administrator, SJTA. The Sri Kshetra Dibyang Seva Sangathan was demanding the SJTA to provide special arrangements for the divyang devotees.
The SJTA will come up with a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for darshan by divyang devotees after discussions with the Chhattisa Nijog and Shree Jagannath Temple Managing Committee.
There will be a special time period every day for the darshan by differently-abled persons. A waiting room for the divyang devotees will be constructed at the Uttar Dwar.
