Skeletal Remains of 5 of a Karnataka Family Found in a House After 4 Years

Bengaluru: Skeletal remnants of five members of a single family were located inside a house in Karnataka’s Chitradurga district.

The family was last seen by anybody in July 2019. Neighbours thought the family was out of town as their house was seen to be locked.

Recently, locals informed police, when they found the main door of the house broken by some intruder. When police entered the house, they were astonished to find four skeletons, two on beds and two on the floor, in one room. Another skeleton was discovered in an adjoining room.

Initial police investigation has revealed that the deceased were probably an octogenarian couple, their elderly son and daughter, and their 57-year-old grandson.

Further investigations into the case were underway.
