T20 WC Winner Team India Meet PM Modi To Celebrate Victory

New Delhi: Fresh from their triumph at the T20 World Cup, the Indian Cricket Team, on Thursday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi  at his 7 Lok Kalyan Marg, to celebrate their victory.

With the T20 World Cup trophy in hand, the team arrived to a warm welcome from fans and officials at Delhi airport on Thursday morning.

Skipper Rohit Sharma was seen dancing at the airport holding the coveted World Cup trophy. Suryakumar Yadav also shook a leg on Punjabi tunes.

The world cup winner team was welcomed by BCCI secretary Jay Shah and President Roger Binny at the airport.

Later, a special cake on team India’s official jersey was also cut at the hotel by Rohit Sharma to celebrate their victory in the recently held T-20 World Cup.

From the hotel, the players travelled to the PM’s official residence. The Prime Minister reportedly congratulated the players on their stellar performance, dedication, teamwork, and resilience. The PM also hosted a feast for the entire team.
